Evaluating Product Requests

Note: This feature is available only to administrators.

Each time a user in your DolphinRTK system requests a product, this product is added to the administrative request queue. Here, administrators can evaluate the requests and decide whether to approve or reject each.

When you approve a request, you begin the process of adding the requested product to your product list. This process is determined by the source of the request:

To evaluate a product request:

Starting at the Product Requests page (How do I get there?), do the following:

  1. Under New Requests, find a product request you want to evaluate.

  2. Evaluate the request according to your company practices. If the request's MSDS Source is IHS Dolphin Online or another collection, the request offers a View the product link; click this link to learn more about the product by viewing its MSDS. (Click the back-arrow in the upper left to return to the Product Requests page.)

  3. When you have fully evaluated the request, proceed accordingly:
